Travellers Tales - Northern Territory - Kununurra to Darwin

Long ago I met a couple of Kununurra, which promised to show me the best of the area, if what I have done it that way, maybe I would doubt, but true to his word, we determined that our experience has been Kununurra one of the highlights of our trip last far.We our first day of fishing in a rattle of "bar" in the Ord River bottom. Bar Barramundi is by the way, no Barracuda. It took two children of 50 centimeters, which have been published, and a bit "larger than the legal one, which brought us home. Apparently not supposed to catch on a line unless it is as close as + 80 cm, and certainly not to mention all the catfish we caught, whether to maintain any credibility as a fisherman, so no.
Then we had the famous Bungle mess in style with a full day excursion to fly fixed wing, 4-wheel drive and the chopper! Y 'visit and the officials came to Australia because it is usually possible to "do it yourself, but the pies are so inaccessible that only became famous in 1980 when a cameraman for Channel 9 was on a ride with Heli - a musterer . A 4WD Camper could make the journey, but ours was not up to the task. We flew over Lake Argyle (technically an inland sea) and the Argyle diamond mine (the largest in the world for volume of production apparently ). A couple of memorable days! We have thence westward along the tail of the Gibb River Road to El Questra, where we enjoy the hot springs, and Emma Gorge, where they also swim, this time with a waterfall. We ended the day at the Wyndham, where I met an old friend from London and enjoyed Aussie hospitality.
Heading further east again camped at Victoria River Roadhouse before arriving at Catherine and Gorge. We had 3 options here, on foot, canoe or a cruise of the throat. I wonder why I did the second, but instead hired a couple of canoes, two in each. We rowed up the river rapids as far as he dragged the Canoeing at the rocks in front of more tanks. Not having seen crocodiles (again), we enjoy a swim in the next set of rapids before coming back down. My boat riding the rapids first, pushing the rocks with our leaves, while driving the best we have, do not worry. Then came our colleagues, the first installment of the rapids on the ground that the boat so we have a laugh while taking photos. He decided that its leaves were higher compared to the needs and threw the overboard. The rapid and then released them, not palettes address, only for them to hit the rock and roll, very near the ship.
The timing of this could not be better for the dozens of cruise guests seemed to have all the cameras, so be careful with girls You've Been Framed or like.A fun day was then placed in Litchfield National Park, where he visited three more gorges and spectacular waterfalls all in his way, before arriving in Darwin. Here rest and recover before starting the preparations for the trip south of Alice Springs.
